How secure is PCV Vault?

Every document is encrypted in transit and at rest, your vault is isolated at the data layer, sign-in takes two factors, and every security-relevant event — logins, shares, deletions — is logged. Read the full breakdown on our Security page.
Who is PCV Vault for?

Anyone whose paperwork spans borders: migrants, international students, cross-border professionals, frequent travellers — and anyone tired of deadline surprises. If your documents were issued in more than one country, no single government wallet serves you. We do.
Which countries does it work in?

All of them. PCV Vault is country-agnostic by design: documents from any issuer, dates handled in your locale, reachable from any browser.
Does PCV Vault verify documents?

Not yet, and we're careful to say so. Today we do custody: safe storage, understanding, reminders, and controlled sharing. Verification with issuers — confirming a document is genuine with the university or authority that issued it — is Phase 3 of our roadmap. What we never do is pretend: no false 'verified' badges.
Can someone view my document without a PCV account?

Yes — that's SecureShare. You send a time-limited link plus a separate one-time code; they view the document without signing up; you see exactly when it was opened, and you can revoke the link at any moment.
What does it cost?

PCV Vault is free during early access. At launch it becomes a simple monthly subscription — priced like a coffee, and announced clearly before you ever pay.
What documents can I store?

Passports, national IDs, visas and residence permits, degrees and transcripts, professional licences and certifications, employment references, financial and medical documents — anything that proves who you are or carries a date you can't afford to miss.
What happens when I delete a document?

Deleting is soft first — recoverable, because midnight mistakes happen. Hard delete is a separate, deliberately confirmed action, and it genuinely erases the document from storage.
Where is my data held, and what about GDPR?

PCV Vault is built by a UK-registered company operating to UK GDPR standards: minimal collection, export on request, genuine erasure. We'll publish our hosting regions plainly before launch — where your documents physically live matters, and you deserve to know.
