Early access & beta
During early access the service is provided free and “as is” while we build. Features may change, and availability is not guaranteed. We’ll give reasonable notice before introducing paid plans.
Your account & content
You are responsible for keeping your login secure. You retain ownership of the documents you upload; you grant us only the limited rights needed to store and display them back to you and provide the service.
Signing a document
PCV Vault lets you place a signature and text onto a PDF and save the result. This is a visual signature — the equivalent of printing a document, signing it by hand and scanning it back in.
It is not a qualified or advanced electronic signature under eIDAS, the UK eIDAS Regulation, or the US ESIGN Act. We do not verify your identity at the point of signing, and we do not issue a signing certificate or a tamper-evident audit seal. Whether a visual signature is sufficient depends on the document and the jurisdiction; where a qualified signature is required — as it can be for some property, court and immigration filings — use a certified provider instead.
Signing never overwrites your original: the signed copy is saved as a new version alongside it.
AI-assisted features
Where you turn them on, we use an AI provider to read documents and to score, rewrite or match your CV. These features produce suggestions, not advice. They can be wrong, and you are responsible for checking anything before you rely on it or send it to an employer.
Job matches are listings published by third-party job boards. We do not endorse, vet or have any relationship with the employers behind them, we never apply on your behalf, and applying always takes you to the board the listing came from.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content, attempt to breach security, or use the service to harm others. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties, and our liability is limited. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law.
